Practice Tracks in E Major

Title & Comments: Tanpura. This is a melodic Tonal Center used in Carnatic music. In western terms it uses the Root and the 5th of a Key (aka. tonal center). Is it Major? Is it Minor? Neither! which means we can practice using either one. Cool huh?
Author: Delhite gurdeep
Meter & Tempo: n/a (there is a Carnatic rhythm structure here, but it does not translate to a simple time signature. Just play along!)
Key: E any
Scales, Pitch vocabulary: any E major or minor. Or simply the open strings of the guitar or uke.
Chord: E any

Title & Comments: Two chord track. Nice track that's easy to solo over. Also that piano riff over top of the chords is reminiscent of Something In the Night, by Bruce Springsteen. cool.
Author: Tom Bailey.
Meter & Tempo: 4/4 about 80bpm.
Key: E major
Scales, Pitch vocabulary: E major. E pentatonic major.
Chords: E  Asus2 (a regular A chord works as well)  C#m

Title & Comments: This cool groove is based on Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers. The author modified the chord changes, kept the overall feel, and made a sweet little track to play around with.
Author: Ben Eggington.
Meter & Tempo: 4/4 about 80bpm.
Key: E major
Scales, Pitch vocabulary: E major. E pentatonic major.
Chords: E  C#m  G#  A    (the G# major chord is my total fav here! Normally it would be a minor chord, but the major, and the way it leads into the A chord is just cool.)

Practice Tracks in E Minor
